February 4th, 2020 – Yakima River Fishing Report

Looks like we’re stuck inside tying for at least the next few days. With rain and higher temps the Yak is too high and dirty to bother fishing, and we have a mix of snow, rain and warmer weather mixed in over the next few days so things aren’t looking good. It’s looking like in to next week things will be cooling off again and giving us more snow in the mountains, things should drop back down by then and bring fishing back to normal.

We’re hoping the river doesn’t end up bumping up too much more, especially  since the river has dropped a lot since this weekend, and hopefully we can be fishing by Friday or Saturday.

Keep an eye on the graphs though, it is Washington so who knows what’s going to happen with the weather and we might get fishable conditions sooner than we think. Or we could get hit by a tornado, who knows!
