Yakima River Fishing Report – November 17, 2022

It’s a bit chilly on our side of the mountains but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t any fishing being done! We got a little bit of snow but it melted pretty quickly so boat ramps are still accessible, and the river is in great shape.

Nymphing is the ticket right now. We like the slower walking speed water and inside corners. We are using poly indicators, you are going to watch for the subtle takes. Small nymphs have been the ticket (size 18 Red Brassie, size 16 FB Pheasant tail, size 16 Spanish bullets and 18 Duracell to name a few) Remember that fish will tend to pod up in the colder weather, so if you find one then stick to that zone and work it hard.

It’s getting close to Christmas we offer gift cards!
