Yakima River Fishing Report – May 31, 2023

The river is low, clear and fishing remains consistent as an assortment of PMDs, yellow sallies, and golden stones pulse through the system. As of now, the best fishing is taking place sub-surface with dry fly fishing being marginal at best. Caddis can still be found in the evenings.

Conditions should hold and fishing should continue to be productive. Summer is here, so put on the sunscreen, catch a fish or two, and enjoy it. Stay safe out there.
