The guides speak English and are very willing to provide you the experience you are looking for every day. We highly recommend you practice your casting and fitness before your trip. Saltwater Flats fly fishing can be very demanding!
Species of Fish: Bonefish, Permit, Tarpon, Snook are primary targets. Jacks, Cuda, Trigger fish, Sharks, Cobia are available targets as well.
Gear for Ascension Bay: You are responsible for bringing all your own fishing gear, flies, leaders and tippet. We have an online shop setup to purchase everything you need for the trip. We highly recommend purchasing our custom tied Ascension Bay flies. They are custom tied for Ascension Bay. You can buy flies individually or purchase a fly box we have setup for the trip. Saltwater gear is highly recommended (Rods, Reels) and warm saltwater lines, freshwater gear will fail, and freshwater lines (warm or cold) are miserable to cast.
