2023 marks our 17th year hosting trips to Ascension Bay! Our exclusive relationship with Ascension Bay Lodge has produced many memorable experiences that keeps us coming back year after year. The guides, lodge staff, food and accommodations are all amazing. For 2023 we have three pricing options for the lodge, best pricing and prime dates.
Ascension Bay is one of the premier saltwater destinations in the world. If you are looking for Permit, this is the place. Typically, every day you will have shots at the big 4 saltwater flats species Permit 5-20+ lbs, Tarpon 5-50+ lbs, Bonefish 2-10 lbs, Snook 2-30 lbs. Wanting to add a Grand Slam or Super Slam, Ascension Bay won’t disappoint the experienced angler. New to saltwater flats fishing, Ascension Bay has excellent bonefish flats to help develop your saltwater skills. Ascension Bay truly has something for everyone and all skill levels. The guides at the lodge are very experienced, there is a Senior and Junior guide in each boat. The lodge uses very comfortable 23ft flats style boats. The guides speak very good English and are happy to provide you the experience you are looking for while visiting Ascension Bay. We would recommend brushing up on your Spanish prior to your trip. We would also highly recommend practicing your casting, including a double haul and focus on your fitness prior to your week on the flats!
