Klickitat River
The Klick is an amazing place located in the shadow of the Mount Adams volcanic cone in South Central Washington. The river sharply declines through rugged and beautiful canyons to join the mighty Columbia. Fed by glaciers, the fridge water can easily rise with a heavy rain or extremely warm temperatures but will quickly fall back into fishing shape.
The season opens in June and ends November 30. The height of the season begins in August while we consider September and October as the best steelhead months. Due to the location, a minimum of two days is recommended. Comfortable lodging is available in Goldendale. For the best all around experience, our overnight camp trip with 2 full days of fishing is the best way to go.
