Our favorite hook for pat’s stones and big dry flies, the 718 is super strong, heavy and sharp. Our guides love to tie their stone’s on them with a big bead head because when you snag bottom, you’re more likely to pull up the river bottom than to straighten or dull this hook.
This is an extended length hook with a 2X+ gape. It has a straight eye and is formed from a medium-heavy weight wire.
