Yakima River Fishing Report – November 14, 2023

It’s a bit chilly on our side of the mountains but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t any fishing being done! The river is in great shape, and big fish are eating.

Streamers: Couple of our guides are doing very well on streamers, They are fishing slower speed, deeper water. The color choice is Olive, Black and white.

Nymphing: We like the slower walking speed water and inside corners. We are using poly indicators, you are going to watch for the subtle takes. Small nymphs have been the ticket (size 18 Red Brassie, size 16 FB Pheasant tail, size 16 Spanish bullets and 18 Duracell to name a few) Remember that fish will tend to pod up in the colder weather, so if you find one then stick to that zone and work it hard.

We are still offering Guide trips this time of year. We are meeting at the shop at 10am and fishing until 3 ish. Come enjoy a winter day with us. $450 per boat

It’s getting close to Christmas we offer gift cards!
