July 21st, 2018 – Yakima River Fishing Report

Fishing has stayed pretty steady lately except for our typical mid-day slow patch. Fish are still coming up for chubbies and hoppers, during the morning and evening, and for the middle of the day nymphing has been consistent.

Streamers have also been effective as long as you can get them down with any sort of heavy sink tip. This time of year, fish really prefer something flashy like a sparkle minnow or a lil kim, but your classic muddlers or woolly buggers will do the trick.
